I'm Elle, a proud Virginia native with family roots in the the Sandhills of Nebraska for over a century. While I loved running our business in the Northern Virginia/Washington D.C. area, I wouldn't trade our life in the Sandhills for anything.
Andrew gave me my first DSLR camera in a sweet attempt to cheer me up when I was going thru a rough time, and photography became a powerful tool to discover and celebrate joy. Before I knew it, that led to weddings and portrait sessions.
I'm a self proclaimed jack of all trades, but my two proudest accomplishments are my business of over a decade and my Master's degree in Nursing (go Virginia Cavaliers)! When we aren't taking photos of epic people you can find us on our ranch hanging out with our dogs (Willow and Copper), gardening, renovating our 106 year old cottage. or geeking out over scientific research and herbal medicine.

I migrated to the Sandhills in 2021, from Virginia, hoping to help save my grandparent's ranch that had been in the family for over a century. With the help of Sandhills locals, my aunt and I were able to succeed in this mission and help keep the family ranching legacy alive. With no plan of staying in the Sandhills, the opportunity arose for Andrew and I to purchase a corner portion of the ranch in which we currently reside. While I grew up as a city kid, I spent time every summer on the ranch. It has always been a place filled with magic and freedom to me.
Legacy is important to me. It is what we leave behind for those who come after us - it is how we are remembered. Photography can capture that legacy in a way that preserves the history of you and your story. We would be truly honored to capture your story!
